Family Day Care Educators Association of South Australia Inc. Founded 1988 (formally known as COSA - Careproviders of SA)
The Association exists to support & promote FDC Educators across South Australia while advocating for high-quality outcomes for children, parents, & families.
Working collaboratively with organisations such as the Education Standards Board, Family Day Care Australia & other stakeholders to strengthen & advance the Family Day Care sector.
The Association provides educators with guidance, information, & support to encourage quality childcare practices & professional development. It also engages with government and non-government agencies in South Australia and across Australia through consultation and partnership, contributing to policy discussions and initiatives that support the delivery of quality early childhood education and care.
Through these efforts, the Association aims to build a strong and sustainable future for Family Day Care and the families it serves.
We support FDC educators in various ways from answering simple questions, discussing issues or concerns at our monthly meetings. Heading out into our SA communities engaging in group visits & networking with educators across the state. To running training sessions, supporting educators with concerns and complaints.
